Excellent point. I've long been wary of the "always online" mindset, while still going along with it. Then it dawned on me that it's perfectly fine to do things differently. For example: instead of always being connected to the Substack app, you can just log in to the website when it suits you, or at least turn off notifications.

PQ made the point of not being constantly connected to Substack. That has been massive for me in how I use technology. No notifications, I log in when I want to and don't mind going a day or two without checking right now. Such a small shift but so beneficial.
